Romantic retreat in Visconde de Mauá | Lavanda

Chalé Lavanda was created to offer a unique experience in the middle of nature for those visiting Visconde de Mauá and wishing to explore the Alcantilado Valley. With a cozy veranda and a breathtaking view of the Serra da Mantiqueira and the waterfall, it is the perfect place to relax in a hammock and enjoy a moment with your partner. To top it off, there's a fireplace, ideal for romantic moments. The chalet has a garage, Wi-Fi, TV, minibar, sandwich maker, coffee maker, hot water and much more.

In the accommodation you will find:
Outdoor area: Chairs and open fire.
Balcony: Hammock, table with chairs and rocking chair.
Inside the chalet: Double bed (188 cm x 138 cm), 32” TV with access to cable channels and streaming apps (via TV box), floor fan, fireplace, blackout window, translucent curtain, chest of drawersand a full-length mirror.
Kitchen: Fridge, electric coffee maker, sandwich maker, blender, plates, cutlery, glasses, cups, wine glasses, corkscrew, can and bottle opener.
Other: 2 umbrellas, emergency light, hot water in the shower and taps.
Portable barbecue and stove: Available on request at least 1 day before check-in, as they are not in the chalet.

Garage: 1 uncovered parking space.

Internet: Fiber optic Wi-Fi (200 megs). - The contracted internet speed can only be guaranteed with a cable connection, as there is a loss of signal with a wireless connection. We are also not responsible for signal instability or oscillations due to the malfunctioning of the service provider.

Some important observations:

- For security purposes, there are cameras outside the chalet.

- The first load of firewood is complimentary. Replacements are subject to an additional charge.

- There is the option of a farmhouse breakfast, with homemade and regional products, subject to availability and price to be agreed.

- Due to the characteristics of the region, there is no cell phone signal, and the power supply may be unstable from time to time.

Access to the chalet is via a dirt road.

- 1.5 km from Sítio Cachoeiras do Alcantilado - A spectacle of nature with 9 waterfalls. The first of them can be seen from the chalet! The trail to the site is a unique experience, surrounded by lush greenery. The entrance is paid and the site offers infrastructure with toilets and a restaurant. The route can be done on foot, taking advantage of the nature walk.

- 4 km from Cachoeira das Antas - A private refuge with options for bathing, diving and contemplation. On site, the owners also offer a restaurant with a variety of regional delicacies.

- 16 km from Cachoeira da Prata - A true natural paradise! This private park is home to a stunning and easily accessible waterfall.

- 16 km from Pedra Selada - The distance is from the chalet to the parking lot. From there, it is necessary to take a moderate trail to reach the top and contemplate the incredible view of the mountains. The walk is recommended with a guide for greater safety and enjoyment of the experience.
