Welcome to this refuge in the best spot in Ipanema, between Teixeira de Melo and Farme de Amoedo streets, at Posto 9! On Sundays you can enjoy the Hippie Fair, a very traditional handicraft and art fair in the Ipanema neighborhood that takes place on Sundays just a few meters from the apartment. This fair is one of Rio's biggest tourist attractions, but don't be fooled, the locals also love to go there to eat a delicious Acarajé Baiana.

We hope you feel welcome in our space. Remember that this is a residential rental, so it is essential to respect the space, the neighbors and the general rules of good coexistence. Failure to respect these rules may result in the interruption and/or cancellation of your rental.
- It is compulsory to send identification documents for all guests included in the booking. Without this information, your check-in will not be possible. Children under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
- It is compulsory to send the identification document of all visitors, at least 24 hours in advance, respecting the maximum occupancy limit of the accommodation.
- After 10pm, a fee of BRL 130.00 will be charged for in-person check-in, subject to staff availability. This is not an optional service.
- We do not provide salt, olive oil, sugar or other food items in our accommodation for hygiene reasons.
- The portable crib service is subject to availability. There will also be a charge of R$150.00 per booking for use + the cost of transportation.
- Parties and/or events are not permitted.
- Please respect the Silence Law between 22:00 and 08:00.
- Smoking inside the residence is not permitted. Evidence such as cigarette butts, ash or odors will result in an extra cleaning charge.
- Do not use the bed and bath linen to clean makeup, sunscreen, blood or other products.
- Fines levied against the unit by the condominium management in relation to tenant behavior, such as loud music, bad behavior or behavior that is at odds with the rules of coexistence, will be charged to the lease holder.

I had a great stay at Chang's hideaway. Everything went smoothly, all that was needed was available at the apartment, and the location can't be beat!

Deben saber que este fue el primer lugar de mis vacaciones en Rio de Janeiro, Brasil... y fue espectacular, un lugar muy limpio con todas las comodidades y servicios que cualquier persona necesitaria al llegar de sus excursiones y de la playa. Desde la seguridad que protege el edificio hasta la carta de recibimiento con bombones fue espectacular. La localizacion es exacta si te guta tanto ir a la playa (2 cuadras), el supermercado (1 cuadra), el banco (al frente) y el metro o las estaciones de colectivo (1 cuadra)... que mas decir... un sueño GRACIAS OMAR Y CHANG :D espero volver algun dia... en fin ☆☆☆☆☆

amazingly quiet apartment in the middle of a busy street in a fabulous location. the setup of the apt is unique but worked great (you enter into the kitchen, then through the outdoor space to reach the bedroom. a bathroom in each area.) I would happily stay here again!

I loved this experience. 2 great weeks feeling right at home.
Omar Do Rio customer support was always ready to help and to make my stay as much more pleasant as they could. I could easily get to the Ipanema beach by 5 min walk. Supermarkets, shopping centres, and lots of bars and restaurants all around, but very quiet once inside the apartment. Just perfect!

Annoying check in process, the apartment itself is nice but split between two indoor areas with an outdoor area in between, fine for me but not clearly displayed that way in photos

Omar Do Rio was always very responsive and helpful. Unfortunately given the position of the apartment, there is never any natural light.

The apartment was great value! It had everything we needed and was 2 blocks from the beach. It is managed by a professional company, so they were quick responsive and professional. The place is older and quirky, divided into to parts separated with a little courtyard, but we found that charming. The kitchen had everything to cook, but it's close to a million restaurants. We felt very safe and the area is gay-friendly. We really enjoyed our almost 3 weeks there.

Great location, clean, safe and good for a short stay. Small place, segmented layout, but good for no more than 2 people. We had a comfortable stay and Omar is very responsive.

What great experience I had with Omar’s team and the apartment overall.
Apt couldn’t be in a better location. Basically everything you would need (drugstore, bakery, supermarket, restaurants, shops, beach) within 2 blocks.
Big highlight to how customer focused the whole team is. Always very pleasant and willing to help. I was very impressed with how professional and friendly they were.
The attention to details with the decoration is also something worth mentioning. Kitchen fully equipped.
Flexible with check in and check out times.
I super recommend this place and I plan on booking the same apt again in future trips to Rio.

Nossa estadia nesse imóvel foi simplesmente incrível. Desde o início, a comunicação com o anfitrião foi fácil e rápida, demonstrando total disponibilidade para nos auxiliar. Ao chegar na acomodação, fomos surpreendidos por um ambiente extremamente limpo, organizado e ainda mais aconchegante do que as fotos sugeriam. A localização não poderia ser melhor, segura e próxima de pontos turísticos, permitindo que explorássemos o local com facilidade. Além disso, os serviços e comodidades extras, como Wi-Fi de alta velocidade e uma cozinha completamente equipada, tornaram nossa viagem muito mais tranquila, especialmente por trabalharmos durante a viagem. Sem dúvida, essa experiência no Omar do Rio superou todas as nossas expectativas, e já estamos planejando uma nova visita. Recomendo fortemente para quem deseja uma experiência sem igual!

El alojamiento está al lado de la playa de Ipanema. Es correcto aunque si quieres pasar la tarde en él es oscuro, la cocina huele un poco mal y no es muy agradable estar mucho rato. La cama es cómoda, el baño correcto y se escuchan un poco los coches por la noche. Hay un pequeño espacio exterior pero da a todo el bloque y ves el cielo pero no hay luz. Si solo quieres ir a dormir, es perfecto. Pero para mi, falta luz y ventana exterior. Es una planta baja. Omar Do Rio nos ayudó en todo lo que necesitamos, eso así! Muy atentos!
