Chalé Orquídea was designed to provide a unique experience in Visconde de Mauá, ideal for those who want to explore the Alcantilado Valley. It offers amenities such as a garage, Wi-Fi, Smart TV, minibar, sandwich maker, coffee maker and hot water. With a breathtaking view of the Serra da Mantiqueira, the cozy veranda is the perfect place to relax in a hammock or enjoy an afternoon coffee. An ideal refuge for your family, surrounded by nature.

In the accommodation you will find:

Balcony: Hammock, table with chairs and sun lounger.

Inside the chalet: Queen-size bed (198cm x 158cm), 32” Smart TV, floor fan, dining table with 2 chairs, wooden window with shutter, translucent curtain, chest of drawers and full-length mirror.

Kitchen: Fridge, electric coffee maker, sandwich maker, blender, plates, cutlery, glasses, cups, wine glasses, corkscrew, can and bottle opener.

Other: 2 umbrellas, emergency light, hot water in the shower and taps.

Portable ecological fireplace, barbecue and stove: Available on request at least one day before check-in, as they do not stay in the chalet.

Garage: 1 uncovered parking space.

Internet: Fiber optic Wi-Fi (200 megs).

- The contracted internet speed can only be guaranteed with a cable connection, as there is a loss of signal with a wireless connection. We are also not responsible for signal instability or oscillations due to the malfunctioning of the service provider.

Some important notes:

- We accept one child on request. The bed available is an extra mattress.

- For security purposes, there are cameras outside the chalet.

- There is the option of a farmhouse breakfast, with homemade and regional products, subject to availability and price to be agreed.

- Due to the characteristics of the region, there is no cell phone signal and the power supply can be unreliable from time to time.

Access to the chalet is via a dirt road.

The Caminho do Alcantilado Chalets, surrounded by the green of the mountains, are a cozy refuge for those who want to disconnect from the hustle and bustle and reconnect with nature. In addition to days of tranquillity, fresh air and the relaxing sound of birds. Each sunrise reveals a breathtaking view of the mountains, and the sunset invites contemplation.

The trail to the site is a unique experience, surrounded by lush greenery. The entrance is paid and the site offers infrastructure with toilets and a restaurant. The route can be done on foot, taking advantage of the nature walk.

- 4 km from Cachoeira das Antas - A private refuge with options for bathing, diving and contemplation. On site, the owners also offer a restaurant with a variety of regional delicacies.

- 16 km from Cachoeira da Prata - A true natural paradise! This private park is home to a stunning and easily accessible waterfall.

- 16 km from Pedra Selada - The distance is from the chalet to the parking lot. From there, it is necessary to take a moderate trail to reach the top and contemplate the incredible view of the mountains. The walk is recommended with a guide for greater safety and enjoyment of the experience.
